Flightcheck Commercial Aviation in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician- A&P Mechanic to join our LAS team. The role performs line maintenance per FAA standards, troubleshoots engines, landing gear, hydraulics and more, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3-5 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Must have an A&P license and a valid State Driver’s License.
• Ability to read, write and understand English and interpret technical data.
• Lift up to 70 pounds and climb ladders 6–10 feet.
• Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft line maintenance per company, FAA and customer standards.
• Troubleshoot engines, landing gear, hydraulics, airframes, electrical and oxygen systems.
• Remove and replace system components as required.
• Adhere to safety, quality, reliability and efficiency standards.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals and documents.
• Maintain customer service orientation and accurate documentation.
• Operate support equipment appropriately and travel as needed.

The Aircraft Mechanic will perform aircraft line maintenance activities in accordance with company, FAA, other regulatory, and customer standards. Responsible for accomplishing unscheduled/scheduled maintenance; to include, troubleshooting engines, landing gear, hydraulic systems, airframes, electrical systems, and oxygen systems. Remove and replace various system components, as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform all aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with Flightcheck’s RSM, QCM, customers’ procedures, FARs, and all other applicable rules and regulations
• Accomplish job functions to the highest safety, quality, reliable, and efficient standards
• Complete aircraft maintenance work assignments to the highest standards to ensure aircraft airworthiness
• Able to read, interpret, and comply with all aircraft maintenance manuals and other maintenance documents to complete work assignments
• Must be customer service-oriented
• Ensure all company, customer, and regulatory documents are complete and accurate
• Properly use and operate support equipment in performance of assigned duties, i.e., servicing units, jacks, lifts, calibrated tooling, etc.
• Occasional travel may occur
• Perform other duties as they are assigned

Requirements:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Must have 3-5 years of experience
• Must have a valid A&P and State Driver’s License
• Must be able to read, write and understand English and the ability to interpret technical data and special operating instructions
• Must be able to lift and move up to 70 pounds
• Must be able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
• Must be able to climb ladders ranging from 6 to 10 feet tall
