FlightCheck Commercial Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician- A&P Mechanic at Washington Dulles Airport. The role performs line maintenance per FAA standards, troubleshoots engines and systems, reads maintenance manuals, and ensures airworthiness while upholding safety and customer service requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Valid A&P certification and State Driver’s License.
• Ability to read and understand English, and interpret technical data.
• Able to lift and move up to 70 pounds.
• Able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Able to climb ladders 6–10 feet tall.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance activities per FlightCheck procedures, FARs, and customer standards.
• Complete jobs to high safety, quality, and reliability standards.
• Ensure aircraft airworthiness through proper maintenance.
• Read, interpret, and follow maintenance manuals and docs.
• Deliver customer service-oriented support.
• Keep company, customer, and regulatory documents accurate.
• Properly use servicing units, jacks, lifts, and calibrated tools.
• Occasional travel may occur.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking exceptional individuals for our Aircraft Maintenance Technician- A&P Mechanic team in Washington- Dulles Airport!

The Aircraft Mechanic will perform aircraft line maintenance activities in accordance with company, FAA, other regulatory, and customer standards. Responsible for accomplishing unscheduled/scheduled maintenance; to include, troubleshooting engines, landing gear, hydraulic systems, airframes, electrical systems, and oxygen systems. Remove and replace various system components, as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform all aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with Flightcheck’s RSM, QCM, customers’ procedures, FARs, and all other applicable rules and regulations
• Accomplish job functions to the highest safety, quality, reliable, and efficient standards
• Complete aircraft maintenance work assignments to the highest standards to ensure aircraft airworthiness
• Able to read, interpret, and comply with all aircraft maintenance manuals and other maintenance documents to complete work assignments
• Must be customer service-oriented
• Ensure all company, customer, and regulatory documents are complete and accurate
• Properly use and operate support equipment in performance of assigned duties, i.e., servicing units, jacks, lifts, calibrated tooling, etc
• Occasional travel may occur
• Perform other duties as they are assigned

Requirements:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Must have a minimum of 2yearsof experience
• Must have a valid A&P and State Driver’s License
• Must be able to read, write and understand English and the ability to interpret technical data and special operating instructions
• Must be able to lift and move up to 70 pounds
• Must be able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
• Must be able to climb ladders ranging from 6 to 10 feet tall
