Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a dedicated Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) in Perryville, MO. The role covers maintenance on various systems, inspections, and support tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have an airframe or powerplant license with progressive experience levels (AMT I–IV) and be able to work under supervision as needed and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe license preferred.
• 0–2 years aviation maintenance/avionics experience for AMT I.
• 2–4 years aviation maintenance experience for AMT II.
• 4–6+ years aviation maintenance experience for AMT III.
• Airframe license required; Powerplant license highly preferred for AMT IV.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and solve aircraft system issues.
• Defuel aircraft.
• Engine removal and installation.
• Operate ground support equipment.
• Inspect aircraft and components.
• Move aircraft and assist in performance runs/taxiing.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
• Navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
