Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Avionics Maintenance Technician for our Perryville, MO location. This on-site role involves troubleshooting and repairing avionics units and aircraft systems, with opportunities to work across Navs, Coms, Pulse, Radar, Audio, and Autopilot systems.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with electronics or avionics factory training preferred. Candidates should be prepared for varied shifts and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; electronics or avionics training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or valid passport ideal but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair avionics units to component level (Navs, Coms, Pulse, Radar, Audio, Autopilot).
• Perform general avionics support on aircraft, including removal/installation of panels and components and repairs.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components; verify system performance.
• Communicate effectively in English; use basic computer tools to access manuals and maintenance data bases.
