Job summary
West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Embraer Aircraft Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Chattanooga, TN. This full-time, on-site role supports maintenance on airframes and components and offers a shift premium, paid lunch, and weekend opportunities.
Candidates should hold Airframe or Powerplant licenses with 0–6+ years of aviation maintenance experience. The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to FAA regulations while providing growth opportunities within a leading MRO
Qualifications
- Airframe or Powerplant license required.
- 2-4 years of aviation maintenance experience preferred for AMT II/III.
- Strong communication and teamwork are essential.
- Willingness to work 2nd shift and adhere to FAA guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
- Remove and install panels and components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve aircraft system issues.
- Assist with engine work and ground operations as needed.
- Maintain shop facilities and tooling.
- Communicate clearly in English and follow safety procedures.
