Job summary

West Star Aviation in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3pm-1am). You will perform general mechanical tasks, troubleshoot systems, and support inspections on civilian aircraft.

Competitive shift incentive includes a 10–15% premium, paid lunch and opportunities to transfer to 1st shift after three years. This role requires an Airframe or Powerplant license (Airframe preferred) and 0–6+ years of aviation maintenance experience, with ongoing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Airframe license is required; Powerplant license preferred.
• Ability to read and reference manuals in English and follow FAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve aircraft system problems.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components; assist in performance runs.
