Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician for the weekend shift in Chattanooga, TN. The role involves hands-on mechanical tasks on aircraft, with weekend hours Friday-Sunday, 6:00 am–6:30 pm and a 11.11% shift differential.

Candidates should have an Airframe or Powerplant license and 0–6+ years’ aviation maintenance experience depending on level. A strong team player with good communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Airframe or Powerplant license (A&P) required; airframe license preferred.
• 0–2 years of aviation maintenance experience for AMT I; 2–4 years for AMT II; 4–6+ years for AMT III; 6+ years for AMT IV.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve aircraft system issues.
• Handle aircraft movement and assist during performance runs/taxiing.
• Maintain and repair shop facilities, equipment, and tooling.
