Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a Gulfstream Aircraft Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Chattanooga, TN.

The role involves troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, performing inspections, and maintaining aircraft readiness in a dynamic hangar environment. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, FAA Airframe or Powerplant license, and 0-6+ years of aviation maintenance experience depending on level.

Qualifications

• Airframe or Powerplant license is required; Airframe license is preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience working in aviation maintenance; corporate aircraft experience preferred.
• 4-6+ years of experience in aviation maintenance; full knowledge of maintenance aspects.
• 6+ years of experience in aviation maintenance; subject matter expert on corporate aircraft platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve aircraft system/component issues.
• De-fuel aircraft and assist engine removal/installations.
• Operate ground support equipment and assist in taxiing and performance runs.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components; ensure compliance with FAA guidelines.
