Job summary

JetBlue Airways in Seattle seeks a Manager of Product Development for Aircraft Interiors to lead cross-functional programs from concept to delivery. You will coordinate OEMs, interior partners and internal stakeholders to move projects on schedule while balancing commercial objectives with customer needs onboard.

The role also involves mentoring crew development, collaborating on revenue-generating initiatives, and guiding RFPs and training for new interiors products across the fleet.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent with four years of relevant experience.
  • Five years of airline or travel industry experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and partner relationships.
  • Willingness to travel overnight up to 15%.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the Product team on cross‑functional linefit and retrofit programs with OEMs and interior partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with Product Design to ensure adherence to creative guidelines for trim, finish, lighting, carpeting, and touchpoints.
  • Lead internal executive reviews, steering committees, and high-visibility meetings to align on complex projects and gather feedback.
  • Represent JetBlue at milestone meetings to sign off design requirements and accept delivery of interiors products.
  • Lead the introduction of the A321XLR, coordinating training, change management, and process development.
  • Develop new revenue-generating ancillary products and collaborate with Revenue Analysis on ancillary streams.
  • Collaborate with Brand, IT, and Analyst Product Technology to embed product attributes in digital merchandising platforms.
  • Structure and launch RFPs, issue POs, and ensure business continuity for interiors products if needed.
  • Provide day-to-day support for partners including OEMs and seat manufacturers; assist in product assessments.
  • Work with Inflight and Corporate Communications to gather frontline feedback and implement long-term solutions.
  • Support market research initiatives including benchmarking, concept research, and product testing.
  • Align with other Product Development teams to ensure seamless development.
  • Contribute to crew development to support engagement and growth.
