Ideal candidates will have leadership experience in customer service, a valid US driver’s license, and the ability to pass pre-employment checks including drug testing. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Possess and maintain valid US driver's license.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and a physical.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs repeatedly.
• Must be able to obtain airport and customs badges/seals.
• Must be available for variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• One-year college certificate or technical school, six months related experience or equivalent.
• Certification in dangerous goods awareness.
• Previous customer service experience in a lead role preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

• Assigns employees to work on front counter or airline accounts.
• Introduct new employees to work area, rules, policies, time clock, and department operations.
• Trains employees or pairs them with an experienced staff member.
• Ensures staff are trained on policies, procedures, cash handling, security, and systems.
• Interfaces with other departments to resolve service issues and ensure quality.
• Adheres to uniform guidelines and code of conduct.
• Maintains inventory of freight and cargo accounting.
• Follows all security procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
