Job summary

Leidos in Gaithersburg, MD is seeking a Systems Integration & Test Engineer to contribute to the Terminal Flight Data Manager (TFDM) program. TFDM will provide NextGen air traffic capabilities to improve NAS operations and surface management.

You will perform system integration and testing across physical and virtual labs, coordinate with FAA and Leidos teams, and help implement automated testing to accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and 6+ years of experience, or 4+ years with a Master’s degree.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems and networking configurations.
• Experience with Python, shell scripting, Bash for data processing and automation.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing in physical and virtual labs to prepare tests with customer presence.
• Coordinate activities with FAA and Leidos personnel.
• Debug system-level issues and provide data to resolve problems.
• Understand system requirements and perform interface checkouts.
• Develop automated solutions to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
