Job summary
Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Engineer for the Air Traffic Solutions (ATS) team in Marlborough, MA. You will develop and verify requirements for next-gen Air Traffic Control RADAR systems, guiding government and commercial deployments and acting as a subject matter expert for the engineering team.
You will drive multi-platform integration and test, collaborate with stakeholders, and help modernize NAS and international radar networks while maintaining
Qualifications
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 10+ years experience or Advanced Degree with 7+ years experience.
- U.S. citizenship required for access to program/contract info.
- Ability to obtain FAA and/or DoD clearance (FAA/DoD Secret).
- Experience with design, integration and test of PSR and MSSR.
- Experience generating technical documentation and briefings for stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Join a systems engineering team modernizing Air Traffic Control RADAR systems in NAS and internationally.
- Develop system and product-level requirements and sell-off criteria.
- Lead verification activities and ensure performance and safety standards.
- Travel up to 25% domestically or internationally to meet program objectives.
- Serve as SME and consultant to the Systems Engineering team.
