The University of Oklahoma is seeking a dedicated Air Traffic Control Laboratory Technician to support operation, maintenance, and advancement of ATC simulation labs within the aviation program. The role ensures training equipment and simulation systems are functional and available to support instruction, research, and operations.

The successful candidate will work closely with faculty, students, researchers, and industry partners to provide technical expertise, develop scenarios, assist with

Competenze

High School diploma or GED required.
At least 1 year of experience as Remote Pilot Operator at FAA Academy or FAA ATC facility or FAA-approved AT-CTI school with high-fidelity simulation.
One year of ATC Pseudo Pilot experience.

Mansioni

Operate as a pseudo pilot during ATC simulation exercises to enhance training realism.
Assist students with hands-on learning in ATC Simulation Labs.
Provide real-time feedback and guidance to learners.
Support students in ATC procedures, phraseology, and operational protocols.
Assist with classroom instruction and course materials.
Coordinate with faculty on lesson preparation and demonstrations.
Participate in student evaluations under faculty direction.
Troubleshoot and maintain ATC simulation software and hardware.
