Qualifications

• US citizenship required with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Minimum of five (5) years FAA CPC experience controlling live traffic, or recent contract Instructor experience at an FAA facility at the same type and level as ORF.
• FAA CPC certification with ability to obtain Instructor-II Simulation Laboratory and Classroom Certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classroom and/or simulation laboratory training to developmental air traffic controllers and CPCs.
• Mentor students and RPOs; contribute to curriculum design and development.
• Obtain radar and non-radar simulation lab certifications and coordinate with FAA facilities.
