Job summary

Total Safety U.S., Inc. is seeking an Air Technician II to join a safety‑conscious team. The role involves cleaning, calibrating and repairing fixed and portable gas monitoring systems, water/moisture content equipment and breathing gear.

Strong focus on documentation and customer interaction to ensure accurate invoicing and service delivery. Requirements include 2+ years in relevant field, valid driver’s license, ability to travel, and forklift certification; offshore travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Two+ years in fire protection, petrochemical, oil refinery or related industry.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance; insurable for company vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites, offshore projects as needed.
  • Must pass forklift certification and be able to travel for short/long-term projects.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, clean, service and test SCBA and respiratory equipment.
  • Inspect breathing air regulators and high/low pressure manifolds.
  • Document inspections and repairs for invoicing; obtain customer signatures.
  • Train less experienced technicians and customers in use and care of equipment.
  • Assist with stocking, staging and loading orders; maintain clean work area.
  • Operate and maintain assigned vehicle or trailer; support others as needed.
