Job summary

Total Safety is seeking an Air Technician to join its safety-focused team. The role conducts cleaning, calibrating and repair of fixed and portable gas monitoring systems, water/moisture content measuring equipment, and breathing apparatus.

You will perform routine inspections, maintain regulators, document procedures, and assist with staging and delivery of equipment. A high school diploma is required, with at least one year in fire protection or related industry, plus a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of field experience in fire protection, petrochemical, oil refinery, or related industry.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance; insurable for company vehicle.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and offshore projects as needed.
• DOT hazardous endorsement or ability to obtain; State Fire Marshal licenses as required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Receipt, inspection, cleaning, servicing, and testing of SCBA and respiratory equipment.
• Routine inspection and maintenance of breathing air regulators and reducers.
• Complete documentation for inspection/repair and invoicing.
• Conduct visual inspections and report deficiencies with corrective actions.
• Assist in stocking, staging, and loading orders for delivery; maintain clean work areas.
