Job summary

Total Safety in Denver seeks an Equipment Technician to perform quality workmanship in cleaning, calibrating and repairing fixed and portable gas monitoring systems and breathing air equipment used by customers. The role supports the breathable air loop system and requires adherence to safety procedures.

You will inspect, test, document, and assist with orders, ensure proper PPE and permits, and work under supervision on a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or military training preferred.
• Minimum 1 year field experience in fire protection, petrochemical, or related industry.
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record; forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean, service, reassemble and test SCBA and breathing air equipment.
• Maintain clean, orderly work area and assist stock and staging of equipment.
• Document inspections and repairs, obtain customer signatures for invoicing.
• Conduct visual inspections and functional tests, report deficiencies and propose actions.
