Job summary

Gebrüder Weiss in the United States seeks an experienced Air and Sea Export Operations Lead to oversee daily export activities and serve as the operational leader for the Air & Sea Export team.

You will coordinate workloads, ensure timely processing, maintain export files, and act as the senior escalation point for customers, vendors, and overseas agents while prioritizing accuracy, compliance, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of freight forwarding or international logistics experience.
• Experience using CargoWise, SAP, Microsoft Excel, and related logistics systems.
• Prior experience as a Lead, Trainer, Mentor or Senior Operations team member.
• Knowledge of U.S export compliance regulations and industry practices.
• Proven ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the daily operations of the Air & Sea Export team.
• Coordinate workloads and shipment assignments to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Ensure compliance with U.S Customs regulations and all applicable government requirements.
• Maintain complete and accurate export files within company systems.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for customer, vendors, overseas agents, and team members.
• Ability to exercise sound judgement and discretion.
• Strong commitment to operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
