Burns & McDonnell is seeking a strategic leader for the Air Quality & Acoustics Business Line Lead. The role focuses on growth, financial performance, market positioning, and leadership across national teams.

Responsibilities include major pursuits, client engagement, and digital transformation investments. The position requires a Bachelor Degree in engineering with substantial experience and a track record in business development, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in engineering, construction management or related degree from accredited program.
• 17 years applicable experience.
• Experience in business development, client management, and leadership preferred.
• Experience with modern delivery methods and digital transformation preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment and overtime on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Drive business performance through sales, revenue, gross margin, backlog, and utilization metrics.
• Develop annual business plans and growth strategies.
• Lead national growth strategies and major pursuits.
• Collaborate with TSLs and Regional Offices for workforce planning and resource allocation.
• Monitor utilization and drive cross-regional collaboration to balance workloads.
• Align regional teams with strategic goals and invest in growth initiatives.
• Build and sustain strategic client relationships and enhance Burns & McDonnell’s brand.
• Mentor future leaders and support succession planning.
