Job summary

Buckland's Air & Ocean team in the United States is seeking a Junior specialist to coordinate the documentation and advances for customs clearance, and to oversee delivery of freight after clearance while ensuring entries meet applicable regulations.

You will work with forwarders, provide PODs, expediting support, and maintain accurate entry summaries, reporting to the Team Leader, Air & Ocean.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of customer service to clients.
• Coordinate the handling of documentation and advances for clearance.
• Delivery of freight after clearance and monitoring of entry/entry summaries.
• Work with forwarders on a daily basis and ensure POD is supplied.
• Expedite and trace shipments as required.
• Assist in development, implementation, and maintenance of department processes.
