Job summary

Buckland is seeking a Junior Air & Ocean Specialist to coordinate documentation and advances for clearance, oversee delivery after clearance, and monitor entry/entry summary preparation to ensure shipments comply with US CFR.

You will provide high levels of customer service, handle import of air and ocean shipments, work with forwarders daily, ensure POD, and assist in developing and maintaining department processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of relevant work experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of customer service to clients.
• Responsible for all Import of Air & Ocean shipments.
• Work with forwarders on daily basis.
• Ensure POD is supplied.
• Expediting and tracing as required.
• Determination of profit levels and billing.
• Process required customs documentation.
• Assist in development, implementation, and maintenance of department processes.
