Job summary

Buckland, a global trade partner, seeks an Import Coordinator to manage documentation, clearance, and delivery for Air & Ocean shipments. You will monitor entry summaries and ensure compliance with US regulations while collaborating with forwarders and internal teams.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of three years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to solve problems and make decisions under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of relevant work experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of customer service to clients.
• Responsible for all Import of Air & Ocean shipments.
• Work with forwarders on daily basis.
• Ensure POD is supplied.
• Expediting and tracing as required.
• Determination of profit levels and billing.
• Process required customs documentation.
• Development, implementation, and maintenance of department processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
