Job summary

Global Medical Response (GMR) is seeking an Operations Control Specialist in O'Fallon, MO. You will provide real-time operational control and guidance to pilots under FAR and company policy, supporting air ambulance missions with risk analysis, weather monitoring, and mutual crew management.

Role requires FAA knowledge, data-savvy skills, and the ability to train others; the position centers on safety, compliance, and efficient flight operations within a dynamic EMS network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• FAA required initial and annual recurrent examination (training provided).
• Experience in Part 135 helicopter EMS industry desired.

Responsibilities

• Provides Operational assistance and Operational Control.
• Monitors weather information and informs pilots.
• Advices pilots of operational windows for transports.
• Mutual management of air ambulance crews with Central Communications Center.
• Performs risk analysis across service area for bases.
