Job summary

Air Methods Corporation seeks highly capable pilots for the Airlift Northwest program in Yakima, WA. The role offers a competitive salary range of $82,900 to $93,251 per year, plus an $15,000 sign-on bonus and an experience stipend up to $12,000 with relocation assistance.

Responsibilities include ensuring airworthiness, complying with FARs, AIM, GOM, and Air Methods policies, and operating on a 7/7 schedule with 12-hour shifts. Comprehensive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and two to five years’ related experience and/or training
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Operates Air Methods aircraft in a safe and legal manner.
• Performs pre-flight checks and a daily walk-around to verify airworthiness.
• Final authority with regard to aircraft operations and safety of passengers, cargo and equipment.
• Familiarizes flight crew with medical interior and systems of backup aircraft.
• Completes required documentation and flight logs.
• Conducts detailed flight planning with short notice to exacting standards.
• Participates in meetings, projects, committees and community outreach.
• Performs other duties as assigned
