Job summary

Air Methods seeks pilots to partner with us to serve communities 24/7. The role ensures airworthy aircraft and safe transport for medical crews and patients within a defined area, complying with FAR, AIM, and GOM guidelines.

Location is North Platte, NE with a seven-on/seven-off schedule (12-hour shifts) and a comprehensive benefits package, relocation assistance, and a $15,000 sign-on bonus. This is a full-time position with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Two to five years’ related experience and/or training
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Operates Air Methods aircraft safely and legally.
• Completes pre-flight checks and Daily Flight Log.
• Maintains final authority for safe aircraft operations.
• Familiar with medical systems of backup aircraft and flight team.
• Completes required documentation.
• Performs detailed flight planning with little notice.
