Air Methods in Sparta, IL is seeking a qualified Helicopter Pilot to transport medical crews and patients under FAR and AIM guidelines. The role requires operating in VFR, ensuring airworthiness and adherence to safety protocols within an assigned area.

Air Methods offers a compensation package including a base pay of USD 82,900–USD 93,251 per year, a USD 20,000 location stipend, and a USD 15,000 sign-on bonus, plus off-duty housing. Travel ~10% with comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• 2,000 total flight hours with ≥1,500 in category.
• 1,000 hours PIC in category.
• 200 hours cross-country, 50 night.
• 75 hours instrument time in category.

Responsabilidades

• Operate Air Methods aircraft safely and legally.
• Complete pre-flight checks and sign-off Daily Flight Log.
• Maintain airworthiness and flight planning with minimal notice.
• Ensure safety of patients, crew and equipment.
