Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services is seeking a Safety Training Manager for ATL Express Operations to lead safety, training, and security programs across warehouse and ramp activities. The role ensures compliance with FAA, TSA, OSHA and carrier requirements while maintaining efficiency and security.

Responsibilities include investigations, guiding managers on safety best practices, managing training calendars, coordinating injury follow-up, and conducting security audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of experience in aviation and warehouse operations.
• 5 years of ramp safety experience.
• 3 years of experience in disability management or workers’ comp.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive safety, security, and training programs across warehouse and ramp operations.
• Ensure operations meet corporate policies, carrier requirements, customer expectations, and regulatory mandates.
• Lead investigations for safety incidents and implement corrective measures.
• Guide station managers on safety best practices and incident prevention.
• Oversee training schedule and resources for new hire and recurrent training.
• Coordinate injury follow-up, accommodations, and return-to-work processes.
• Conduct routine physical security audits and report on incidents.
• Hold monthly safety meetings and drive injury prevention projects.
