Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) is seeking a Manager of Safety and Training to lead comprehensive safety, security, and training programs across warehouse and ramp operations. You’ll ensure compliance with corporate policies, airline requirements, customer expectations, and regulatory mandates while maintaining efficiency and security.

The role requires managing investigations, guiding station managers, and coordinating training schedules to support 24/7 operations in a global aviation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, ADA, and injury management best practices.
• Experience managing safety, security, and training programs.
• Ability to lead investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Data-driven approach with safety management systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Champion a culture of safety excellence through training and engagement initiatives.
• Lead safety and training programs for warehouse and ramp operations.
• Investigate incidents to identify root causes and preventive measures.
• Provide guidance to station managers on safety best practices and incident prevention.
• Oversee training schedules and ensure timely onboarding and recurrent training.
• Manage training resources and facilities, including personnel.
• Conduct routine security audits and investigate policy breaches or loss events.
• Hold monthly safety meetings and drive risk reduction initiatives.
• Influence behavior and foster a safety-first mindset across the division.
