Worldwide Flight Services in Pennsylvania seeks a Manager of Safety and Training to lead safety, security, and training programs across warehouse and ramp operations, ensuring compliance with FAA, TSA, OSHA and corporate policies. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on problem solving, and a strategic mindset to reduce risk and improve safety.

The position supports 24/7 operations and may require after-hours responses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in aviation or warehouse operations.
• 5+ years ramp safety experience.
• 5+ years in law enforcement, loss prevention, or related field.
• 3+ years in disability management or workers' compensation.
• Knowledge of OSHA, ADA, and injury management.
• Experience with safety management systems (SMS).

Responsibilities

• Champion a culture of safety excellence through training initiatives.
• Lead safety protocol adherence across warehouse and ramp operations (FAA, TSA, OSHA).
• Investigate safety incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Provide guidance to station managers on safety best practices.
• Oversee training schedules and ensure new hire training aligns with operations.
• Manage training resources and facilities.
• Monitor injury follow-ups, return-to-work processes, and accommodations.
• Conduct security audits and investigate loss events; deliver reports.
• Hold monthly safety meetings and drive risk-reduction projects.
• Foster safety-first mindset at all levels.
• Strategic thinking and proactive approach.
