Job summary

Maersk is seeking an Air Freight Operator to manage end-to-end air freight operations, focusing on imports with potential support for exports. You will handle bookings, documentation, system updates and communication with stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 2+ years in air freight operations, with strong import experience and exposure to export activities. Prior experience in freight forwarding or logistics is preferred; CargoWise One familiarity

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Air Freight Operations experience preferred.
• Strong experience in Air Import operations required.
• Air Export experience considered an asset; experience in freight forwarding environments is common.

Responsibilities

• Manage air import shipments from booking to final delivery.
• Monitor milestones to ensure timeliness and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with overseas offices, agents, airlines, trucking providers, warehouses and customers.
• Maintain accurate shipment updates in the operating system and ensure data accuracy.
