Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Air Freight Export Specialist to coordinate air export shipments end-to-end. You will serve as the main contact between customers, carriers, brokers, and overseas stations, while ensuring documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include tracking shipments, timely airline bookings, billing, and maintaining records in CargoWise. The role requires strong customer service, detail orientation, and proficiency with Microsoft

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Detail oriented with strong follow-up.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Air freight industry experience preferred.
• CargoWise systems knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate air export and import shipments end-to-end.
• Ensure timely airline bookings and shipment execution.
• Serve as primary contact between customers, carriers, brokers, and overseas stations.
• Prepare and review required shipping documents (AWB, AES/EEI, AMS, manifests).
• Track shipments and provide proactive customer updates.
• Ensure compliance with export/import regulations.
• Complete accurate billing and maintain customer records in CargoWise.
• Meet operational KPIs for service, accuracy, and productivity.
