Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in Houston, TX is hiring an Air Export Agent to coordinate air export shipments, liaise with customers, brokers, and carriers, and manage documentation. The role requires ensuring timely bookings, AES filings, and accurate invoicing while maintaining customer profiles and KPI targets.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills.

• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Air freight industry experience preferred.
• CargoWise systems knowledge is a plus.
• ITAR or Foreign Military Sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate air export shipments with customers, brokers, and carriers.
• Prepare export documentation and enter data into CargoWise.
• File AES export declarations.
• Communicate shipment status with customers and overseas partners.
• Ensure accurate invoicing and update customer profiles.
• Meet KPI targets set by the Control Tower.
