Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Air Export Agent to coordinate customer air export shipments and act as the main liaison between shippers, customs brokers, and carriers.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Detail oriented with strong follow-up.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Air freight industry experience preferred.
• CargoWise systems knowledge is a plus.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of air freight experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate air export shipments and bookings with airlines.
• Prepare export documentation and AES entry.
• File AES export customs compliantly.
• Communicate shipment status with customers and overseas teams.
• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
• Maintain customer profiles.
• Meet KPI targets set by the Control Tower.
