Job summary

JAS Worldwide in Atlanta, GA is seeking the Manager of Air Freight Emergency Solution to lead the new desk, coordinate with our Global Core providers, and support the sales force with product knowledge and pricing.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, IATA certification, and at least five years in international freight forwarding sales or operations, with Pharma/Healthcare knowledge and strong Cargo Wise (C1) expertise.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in related field.
In-depth knowledge of Cargo Wise (C1).
5+ years international freight forwarding sales/ops experience.
Pharma and Healthcare knowledge required.
IATA certification mandatory.

Responsibilities

To build the Emergency Solution desk, together with our nominated Core Broker and manage the internal regional teams assigned to the Emergency Solution team.
Responsible for market analysis and statistics.
Awareness of the vertical market in order to work closely on strategic development with Sales and the regions.
To monitor the Trade performance of each service contract.
To check profit and loss development for the Emergency Solution in Air Freight Product.
To travel to the regions / subsidiaries to support in carrier negotiation of local contracts where necessary and approved.
To participate and contribute in meeting the targets set for this new product with EVP Global Head of Air Freight and VP Global Air Freight Operations.
