Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an Air Force Client Development Lead to drive growth for the Department of the Air Force programs. You will lead capture, development, and delivery of technical services while collaborating with executives and external stakeholders.

You will work with HDR’s Federal Leadership Team, manage a broad multidisciplinary portfolio, and guide strategic direction. Travel (20–40%) is required as part of this leadership role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a professional area of study relevant to engineering, architecture, planning or science.
• Professional registrations in area of study.
• 15+ years progressive leadership experience in large, complex organizations with 5+ years at executive level.
• Experience with Department of the Air Force installations and contracts.
• Strong strategic planning and program management background.
• Ability to motivate teams and individuals; alignment with employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Achieves sales goals related to Department of the Air Force Programs, coordinating across HDR services.
• Develops projects, markets, and plans for DAF Programs.
• Oversees HDR portfolio execution across multiple disciplines and budgets.
• Collaborates with Federal Directors to shape capture plans and proposals.
• Maintains key client relationships and supports contract administration and CRM systems.
