Job summary

Kearney & Company is seeking an Air Force Financial Management Senior Specialist to join our Dayton, OH team to lead the deployment, sustainment, and optimization of dashboard solutions across DoD installations.

The role emphasizes mentoring, training, and stakeholder engagement, leveraging Power BI and data analytics to drive accurate reporting and process improvements. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Air Force Financial Management experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI and other BI tools.
• Familiarity with AF Financial Management and FM data elements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret level clearance (US Citizenship).

Responsibilities

• Lead teams in the deployment and installation of dashboards at Air Force installations.
• Oversee daily sustainment and updates of dashboard capabilities across multiple data sources.
• Provide expert-level user support and troubleshooting for dashboard tools.
• Design, develop, and implement advanced data models and visualizations.
• Conduct advanced training sessions and lead change management initiatives.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff, ensuring quality deliverables.
• Analyze user feedback and data trends for process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and government policies; support audit readiness.
• Prepare high-level presentations and user guides for leadership.
• Serve as liaison with MAJCOM, COCOM, and other stakeholders to gather requirements.
