Job summary

Kearney & Company seeks an Air Force Financial Management Junior Specialist to join our DEAMS Deployment and Training Team in Dayton, OH. You will support deployment, sustainment, and user training of financial data visualization tools, primarily dashboards, at Air Force bases.

You will assist senior financial managers in integrating, updating, and troubleshooting dashboard solutions, ensuring accurate reporting and empowering end users through training and support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of DEAMS experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
• Strong customer service and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
• Must be willing and able to travel up to 25%.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance (US Citizenship).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the deployment and installation of dashboards at Air Force installations and modify for local requirements.
• Support daily sustainment and updates of dashboards and data sources.
• Provide user support and troubleshoot dashboard/Power BI tools; document issues.
• Participate in training sessions and develop/update training materials.
• Gather and document user feedback to identify training needs and system improvements.
• Support data extraction, validation, and integration to reflect accurate financial information.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls, security requirements, and government policies.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and user guides as directed by senior staff.
