Job summary

Expeditors International, a Fortune 500 global logistics company headquartered in Seattle, seeks an Air Export AOG Agent to join our operations team. You will process export shipments, prepare documentation, and ensure accurate data entry while maintaining strong client and vendor communication with Expeditors offices worldwide.

The ideal candidate has 6 months to 1 year of related experience, understands air documentation, and holds, or is pursuing, IATA certification.

Qualifications

6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience essential.
Understanding of air documentation
Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
Pro-active, strong organizational skills
IATA certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

Track and Trace shipments.
Prepare and process ship documentation- including house and master air waybills, commercial documents, and customs/regulatory documents.
Accurate and timely data entry into our operating system.
Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, Expeditors offices worldwide, and co-workers through high volume of email, phone, instant message, and person to person.
Monitor reports.
Accurate and timely client billing.
Maintain strong relationships with airlines, trucking companies, and others.
Maintain compliance standards at all times- internal policies and external regulations, and customer requirements.
Meet key performance indicators to support department, branch, product, and company goals.
Desire to understand overall department process flow and seek opportunities for improved efficiency.
Training and Development - must obtain required 52 hours of annual training (company provided).
