Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a motivated Air Export Supervisor in Houston to oversee daily operations of the air export team and ensure timely shipment processing.

You will supervise coordinators, communicate with customers and carriers, and resolve issues from delays to customs clearance while maintaining accurate documentation and strong service standards. Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree and strong MS Office skills, plus familiarity with TMS/ERP in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in transportation, logistics, international business, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of air export operations, documentation, and regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with TMS and ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day air export operations and shipment processing.
• Supervise and coordinate air export coordinators.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, and stakeholders for timely delivery.
• Resolve delays, damages, or customs clearance issues.
• Ensure accurate air waybills and commercial invoices.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to process improvements for efficiency and quality.
