RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced engineering leader to drive performance improvements and ROI across programs. The role requires coordinating cross‑functional teams, managing complex hardware development, and ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and quality targets.

The candidate should have a DoD-cleared background and extensive experience in electro‑mechanical subsystems, circuit design, and hardware integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience with progressing leadership roles.
• Experience with electrical subsystems and circuit card assembly development/integration/test.
• Experience with analog, digital and/or mixed-signal circuit design/analysis or hardware integration/test.

Responsabilités

• Define improvement projects using RTX factory tools and assess ROI.
• Lead teams by leveraging strengths and addressing gaps.
• Run trade studies to select best solution considering cost, schedule, quality, and performance.
• Communicate task status on complex issues across teams and leadership.
• Fill roles as needed to ensure business unit success.
• Partner with the program team to integrate cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
