Job summary

RTX’s ALEGS Department in Tucson, AZ is hiring a Technical Lead to drive program execution across lifecycle activities, ensuring cost, schedule and technical oversight. You will guide a diverse engineering team and coordinate with multiple groups to deliver airborne electrical products.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance and a minimum 8 years in engineering with leadership, plus strong hardware design, test and integration experience. Onsite work with relocation eligible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics or a related STEM field.
• Minimum of 8 years’ engineering experience with progressing leadership roles.
• Experience with Electrical subsystems and/or Circuit Card Assembly (Development, Integration, Test, Production).
• Experience with analog, digital and/or mixed signal circuit design/analysis or hardware integration/test.

Responsibilities

• Define improvement projects using RTX factory tools and assess ROI.
• Lead teams by leveraging dynamics and strengths while addressing gaps.
• Conduct trade studies to select optimal solutions considering cost, schedule and performance.
• Regularly communicate task status across teams and leadership.
• Fill roles as needed to ensure business unit success.
• Collaborate with program teams to integrate cost, schedule and technical requirements.
