Adjunct faculty are responsible for presenting instruction in the specified subject area. The payment method is based on contact hours, with a rate of $27.00 per contact hour.
$27.00 per contact hour. All adjunct positions are part-time, temporary positions offered on a per-semester basis based on the needs of the college. (20-24 hours per week) Adjunct positions do not include benefits or promises of future full-time employment. All courses are face-to-face unless otherwise indicated.
Dual enrollment courses offered at the Coweta (CEC) Campus and Douglas (CCI) Campus are Monday through Friday. Upon employment offer, a background check is required.
Ensures safety and security requirements are met in the Air Conditioning Technology program. Supports faculty to ensure all equipment is in working order. Ensure students are instructed in and follow all safety rules for operating equipment and using tools. Ensure classrooms and work areas are properly cleaned and maintained at all times.
Prepares course curriculum, syllabi, goals, and objectives. Prepares lesson plans for instruction. Works collaboratively with faculty within the discipline to establish, measure, and evaluate program or departmental student learning outcomes for continuous student improvement and success, and submits to the Air Conditioning Technology Program Director.
This job operates in a professional classroom and lab environment. This role routinely uses standard office, classroom, and lab equipment and technology.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, talk, or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move classroom/lab equipment and supplies up to 25 pounds.
