Job summary

Alliance Ground International is seeking Office Agents to support customers through the shipping process, coordinating details, completing compliance documentation, and delivering high levels of customer service. The role requires handling shipping instructions, document retrieval, data entry, and adherence to safety and regulatory rules within a fast-paced airport environment.

Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and authorization to work in

Qualifications

• Excellent English verbal and written communication with customers, colleagues and vendors.
• Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office.
• Basic math for payment transactions and reconciliations.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues during loading/unloading and resolve inquiries.
• Strong time management to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Convey shipping instructions to the customer services counter.
• Retrieve import documents and deliver export documents to/from aircraft.
• Accept cargo in accordance with TSA, FAA, government and carrier rules.
• Accept dangerous goods per FAA/IATA regulations.
• Release imported international freight after CBP clearances and authorizations.
• Collect air freight charges.
• Handle customer calls professionally and courteously.
• Report documentation discrepancies to Office Lead and assist with resolutions.
• Enter data into company systems for cargo documents and manifests.
