Job summary

Alliance Ground International is seeking an Office Agent in Denver to support counter customer services, data entry, and international cargo documentation. You will release import freight after CBP review and prepare freight transfer manifests, while complying with TSA, FAA, Government, and Air Carrier rules.

The role requires basic Microsoft Office skills, excellent English, the ability to lift 50–70 lbs, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of cargo agent experience preferred.
• Valid US driver's license required.
• Airport badging and pre-employment drug screen required.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle counter customer services and data entry.
• Process international cargo documents and CBP clearances.

Job description

Job Description: The work of an Office Agent includes but is not limited to counter customer services, computer data entry, international cargo documents handling, retrieve import / deliver export documents to and from aircraft, acceptance of cargo in accordance with applicable TSA, FAA, Government and Air Carrier rules and regulations, releases import international freight upon review of CBP clearances and authorizations, collects air freight charges, prepare freight transfer manifests, handles phone calls in a professional and courteous manner, accepts dangerous goods in accordance to FAA Regulations and the IATA DGR, etc.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities

• Intermediate computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to handle stress in a fast-paced environment and ensure deadlines are met.
• Ability to concentrate on detail.
• Ability to lift 50-70 lbs.
• Adhere to safety practices and programs.
• Ability to multitask.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of previous Cargo Agent experience is preferred
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Successful completion of required airport badging process and pre-employment drug screen is required.

Schedule of Hours

As an airline services provider, Alliance Ground International requires its employees to be able to work flexible schedules which may be adjusted to meet operational demands such as flight delays, cancellations, adhocs, etc., Strict adherence to company attendance policies are expected and enforced.
