Job summary

WorldWide Flight Services in Miami is seeking a Supervisor Cargo Services to oversee cargo operations, ensure safety and security, and manage staffing and performance. The role emphasizes coordination between customers, operations and compliance with TSA regulations.

The supervisor will monitor service quality, supervise staff, and ensure adherence to company rules and contractual agreements while maintaining budgets and manning levels.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety, operating and maintenance rules and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and measurements.
• Ability to compute rate, percent and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.
• Ability to interpret varied technical instructions and complex variables.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Regular and timely attendance.
• Associates degree or equivalent with related experience or training.
• Must work weekends, holidays and days off.

Responsibilities

• Cargo warehousing including receiving, dispatching and staging airfreight and air mail.
• Operate motorized vehicles related to the operation.
• Maintain and clean work areas, ramps, equipment and facilities.
• Support communication between customers and the Company.
