Job summary

Unifi Aviation, LLC is seeking entry-level personnel for handling inbound/outbound air freight with full-time hours and rotating shifts. No experience is required, as paid training is provided for all new employees, and flight privileges are offered after 30 days for employees and eligible family members.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading cargo, processing shipments, and maintaining freight records while adhering to safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight, packages or cargo.
• Take orders from customers, arrange for pickup of cargo and answer questions related to cargo.
• Prepare bills of lading and weigh items to determine charges and prepare freight bills.
• Collect fees, process payments, and issue refunds using the computer system.
• Contact vendors and claims adjustment department to resolve problems with shipments.
• Prepare manifest to accompany shipments and maintain records of goods shipped, received and stored.
• May also perform ramp agent duties as needed.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and policies.
• Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards.
