POINT GLOBAL LOGISTICS LLC is seeking an Air & Ocean Import Coordinator in Glendale Heights, IL. The role involves coordinating airfreight and ocean freight shipments, working with carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of import operations experience, a strong focus on organization and communication, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced logistics environment. Office-based, with standard Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
• Certifications in logistics (e.g., CPSP) are a plus but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 is preferred but not mandatory.
• 3–5 years of experience in airfreight and ocean freight operations required.

Job Description:

We are looking for an Air & Ocean Import Coordinator position. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing airfreight and ocean freight shipments while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in day-to-day tasks. This role requires someone who is self-motivated eager to get the job done and contribute to our success

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage airfreight and ocean freight shipments
• Work closely with carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations
• Assist with tracking and reporting shipment statuses
• Communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction and troubleshoot any issues
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for shipments
• Learn and grow within the logistics industry, expanding your knowledge and skill set
• Provide pricing quotes
• Review carrier invoices and customer billing for accuracy

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred
• Certifications in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., Certified Supply Chain Professional) are a plus but not required
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word) is preferred but not mandatory
