Job summary

POINT GLOBAL LOGISTICS LLC is seeking an Air & Ocean Import Coordinator in Glendale Heights, IL. The role involves coordinating airfreight and ocean freight shipments, working with carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of import operations experience, a strong focus on organization and communication, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced logistics environment. Office-based, with standard Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
• Certifications in logistics (e.g., CPSP) are a plus but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 is preferred but not mandatory.
• 3–5 years of experience in airfreight and ocean freight operations required.

• Coordinate and manage airfreight and ocean freight shipments.
• Collaborate with carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with shipment tracking and status reporting.
