The Air and Missile Defense (AMD) TIS (Track Identification Services) SW (Software) Development Team Product Owner (PO) will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO). The PO will be responsible for the prioritization and validation of the development software for the TIS team. The TIS team focuses on the identification and classification of tracks in the C2 (Command and Control) software. The position involves reviewing and understanding systems engineering concepts, designs, and algorithms, and providing guidance to the development team. The product owner will collaborate with program management to set priorities for capabilities and defects for each product increment and sprint. The role includes delivering technical briefings and advisements to leadership on status, risks, performance, and potential impacts on the IFMC mission.

Basic Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of CID (Classification, Identification, and Discrimination) used in C2 systems, including IFF, ADS-B, Air Tasking Orders, and NCTR.
• Ability to oversee the development team and verify work based on acceptance criteria, including participation in code reviews.
• Experience working directly with Agile software developers.
• Fluency in the Microsoft Office toolset.
• Bachelor’s (or higher) degree from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, sciences, or mathematics.
• Minimum of 7 years of combined Government/DoD experience performing similar duties.

Additional Qualifications:

• Knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS is a plus.
• Familiarity with current CID measures in one or more DoD services.
• Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM team is advantageous.

Security Requirements:

Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance or higher.
