Job description

Overview

i3 is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Air and Missile Defense (AMD) TIS (Track Identification Services) Software Development Team Product Owner (PO). The PO will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO). This position is expected to be performed fully onsite in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the prioritization and validation of the development software for the TIS team.
2. Responsible for the identification and classification of tracks in the C2 (Command and Control) software.
3. Review and understand Systems Engineering concepts, designs, and algorithms; provide guidance to the development team.
4. Work with program management to set priorities for capabilities and defects for each product increment and sprint.
5. Provide technical briefings and advisement to leadership on status, recommended courses of action, capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts on the IFMC mission.

Qualifications

• Fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset.
• U.S. citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, sciences, or mathematics.
• Minimum of 7 years of combined Government/DoD experience performing the duties listed above.
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance or higher.

Other Qualifications

• Knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS and familiarity with current CID measures in one or more DoD services is a plus.
• Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM team is a plus.
